BIBLE STUDIES

Sunday Bible Study – Weekly

Zion’s church family meets every Sunday morning around 9:20am (in-between our two worship services) for Bible Study. Alternating between Bible books or sections and topical studies, these deep dives into God’s Word are the highlight of our week.

Men’s Bible Study – Weekly

A growing group of Zion’s men gather weekly for breakfast and member-led Bible study, often off-site at a member’s home or restaurant.

Ladies’ Bible Study – Weekly

This gathering of Zion’s ladies offers an opportunity for growing in relationships and in God’s Word. Fellowship time is followed by Bible study in meetings that happen either at church or in a member’s home.

Bible Basics Class – Seasonally

Bible Basics class provides a basic overview of Christian doctrine and beliefs. It is perfect for those interested in membership at Zion or for anyone who simply wants to learn more about what the Bible teaches. These classes are offered every fall, but also whenever there is interest.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Sunday School

Zion’s Sunday School provides children (ages 3 and up) and youth (up to 8th grade) with a fun and welcoming way to learn about Jesus and what he did for us. These classes are led by members of Zion’s church family and are held at the same time Adult Bible Study meets (9:20am every Sunday morning).

Youth Group

Zion’s Youth Group serves middle-school and high school-aged students in our congregation and community, meeting monthly for Bible study and other activities (game nights, service projects, social events, etc.)

Confirmation Classes

Confirmation classes are offered to all 5th-8th grade students who attend Zion’s day school, as well as 6th-8th grade students who attend other schools. These studies offer our youth an in-depth study of Christian doctrine and beliefs.

Mornings with Mommy

Mornings with Mommy is a fun and easy way for moms with young children (ages birth to kindergarten) to enjoy activities together and to meet other moms. Moms can mingle with each other and enjoy age-appropriate activities with their children including: arts and crafts, sensory table, flannel stories and story time, music, educational toys, and a snack.

Zion Lutheran School

Zion Lutheran School serves preschool children ages 3-5 and elementary grades K-8 and exists to assist parents in raising their children to know Jesus and live for Him.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School

Zion supports Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School (10391 Luther Court, Commerce City, Colorado), which provides our youth the opportunity to continue their formal Christian education at the high school level.

ADULT MINISTRY

“Women of Zion”

This service group meets once a month for Christian fellowship and to organize service activities for our church family and the community.

“Rooted” 20-30s Ministry

The “Rooted” Group offers fellowship with like-minded Christians all along the Front Range, often meeting monthly for Bible study and other activities (hiking, snowshoeing, ski trips, Christmas parties, etc.)

Music Ministries

Zion offers several opportunities to serve the Lord through music and song, including Adult Choir, Handbell Choir, and a number of other opportunities to serve as vocalists or instrumentalists during worship.

SERVE

Zion offers several other opportunities for service within the congregation, whether it is serving in a leadership position, on one of our many ministry boards or teams, or simply through volunteering your time and talents to serve in other ways.
